About this scholarship
Undergraduate students majoring in a College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences program at the University of North Texas may apply for this competitive scholarship. Prior Dean's List standing is not required, but applicants must maintain full-time CLASS enrollment and meet the college's academic performance standards.
Award amounts vary. Recipients are selected based on academic promise in a CLASS major.
Apply through the online application with unofficial transcripts, a one-page narrative on your background and goals, and a faculty recommendation letter. A UNT professor or instructor is preferred.

- One-page narrative statement
- Letter of recommendation
- Complete the scholarship application form and submit an email address for a letter of recommendation contact
- Provide transcripts (unofficial acceptable) of all college work, or high school work for entering freshmen
- One letter of recommendation from someone familiar with your academic work, work ethic, or personal strengths (UNT professor/instructor preferred)
- Meet minimum entrance and academic performance standards of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences
- Demonstrate academic promise in a major offered by the College
- Maintain full-time enrollment as an undergraduate student in a College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences program (unless fewer than twice the required semester hours remain)
- Prior Dean's List standing is not required.
