David Sankey Minority Scholarship in Meteorology

Minority undergraduate students entering sophomore year or higher, or graduate students majoring in meteorology, atmospheric science, or a related field at an accredited U.S. college or university may apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or students with residence status. Past recipients are ineligible.

One award of up to $1,000 covers tuition, fees, and course-related expenses such as books and supplies. Applicants must have at least one semester remaining after the award is granted.

Submit application materials, including transcripts and recommendation letters, through SmarterSelect. The scholarship honors NWA Charter Member David Sankey (1946-2000).
