About this scholarship
Undergraduate or graduate interior design students enrolled in at least a three-year accredited program may apply biennially for the ASID Foundation David Barrett Memorial Scholarship. Applicants submit an 8 to 12 page portfolio demonstrating classical Greek and Roman design principles and traditional materials across project types such as workplace, civic, residential, hospitality, or historical restoration.
The award is $12,000. The number of recipients varies.
Apply from February 15 through April 15. The biennial scholarship recognizes outstanding work utilizing classical design elements. The ASID Foundation supports research and education on the impact of interior design on health and well-being.
