About this scholarship
For first-year graduate students in the Master of Arts in Planning, Master of Science in Planning, or Master of Community and Regional Planning programs in UBC's School of Community and Regional Planning. Preference is given to students with an interest in process management and/or decision-making for implementing ideas and monitoring results.
Awards totalling $2,000 are available annually through a gift from Cornerstone Planning Group. They are made on the recommendation of SCARP in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Apply through SCARP internal awards when announced; the existing listing asks for a short statement (up to 200 words) on your interest and first-year eligibility.
The award honours David Whetter (B.Arch. 1970, M.Sc. Bus Admin 1976), Partner Emeritus at Cornerstone, and Robin Whetter.
