About this scholarship
Undergraduate students entering their third or fourth year in the Forest Resources Management, Forest Sciences, or Natural Resources Conservation programs at UBC Vancouver are eligible for these awards. Candidates must be studying silviculture, demonstrate an interest in integrated resource management, and actively participate in extracurricular activities such as athletics. Awards totalling $750 have been endowed by SISCO.
There is no separate application. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Forestry.
The awards honour Dave White, remembered as a widely respected leader in silviculture and ecosystem restoration and for his love of the outdoors.
