Dave McAnerney Memorial Award in Management

Third- or fourth-year undergraduate students in the Faculty of Management at UBC Okanagan who show outstanding academic achievement, demonstrated volunteer or community leadership in Kelowna, and financial need may be considered.

Awards totalling $4,500 are made available through an endowment established by the Stober Foundation in memory of Dave McAnerney (1963-2022), along with matching funds from UBC. Individual award amounts vary.

Applications are submitted through the Faculty of Management, and awards are made on the Faculty's recommendation.

Dave McAnerney was the CEO of Stober Group in Kelowna. He trained as an engineer and enjoyed a long career in senior executive management in the beverage and construction industries.
