DAR Edward G. and Helen A. Borgens Teacher Scholarships

U.S. citizens age 25 or older with at least a 3.5 GPA and college-sophomore standing who are studying to teach at the elementary or secondary school level may apply for the DAR Edward G. and Helen A. Borgens Teacher Scholarships.

Two one-time awards of up to $1,500 are granted, one for elementary education and one for secondary education. Awards are based on academic merit and are not automatically renewable, though recipients may reapply if eligible.

Apply through the DAR online scholarship portal by January 31 at an accredited U.S. college or university.
