About this scholarship
Students attending or planning to attend an approved, accredited medical school, college, or university with at least a 3.25 GPA may apply for the DAR Dr. Francis Anthony Beneventi Medical Scholarship. Pre-med, veterinary, and physician assistant programs are not eligible.
One $5,000 scholarship is awarded. The award is not automatically renewable, but recipients may reapply for up to four consecutive years with proof of continued enrollment and a minimum 3.25 GPA after the first semester.
Apply through the DAR online scholarship portal by January 31. The scholarship is offered by the Daughters of the American Revolution.
