Dairy Shrine Merton Sowerby Junior Merit Scholarship

Junior undergraduate students at a four-year U.S. college who are planning a career in the dairy industry may apply. Eligible fields include dairy science, agricultural economics, dairy genetics, nutrition, extension, research, and related areas.

Dairy Shrine awards up to six merit scholarships, with awards up to $1,500. Selection weighs leadership, activities, academic ability, and interest in the dairy industry.

Apply through Dairy Shrine during the March 1 through April 15 application window.

The scholarship is named for Merton Sowerby, a longtime Guernsey classifier, herdsman, and National Dairy Shrine Pioneer.
