About this scholarship

Undergraduate life-science students who are at least 18 and enrolled at a U.S., Canadian, or Puerto Rican institution may apply for the D.O.O.R.S. (Development Of Our Research Scientists) Award co-sponsored by Promega and the BioPharmaceutical Technology Center Institute. Applicants should come from underrepresented backgrounds and pursue a biotechnology-related major while contributing to biomedical research.

Ten recipients each receive a $5,000 scholarship paid to their school, plus mentorship with Promega and participation in DOORS Scholar's Day. Employees of BTCI, Promega, or authorized Promega distributors and their immediate families are not eligible.

Submit a personal statement, a research abstract, and a faculty recommendation. Geographic availability may vary; check with your local Promega representative before applying.
