Cyril Smith Scholarship

High school seniors or college students who attended a public high school in the city of Merced, California, for at least three full years may apply for the Cyril Smith Scholarship through the Virginia Smith Trust at the Merced County Office of Education. Applicants must plan to attend a WASC-accredited four-year California college or university, excluding community or junior colleges, and meet GPA requirements of 3.8 for high school applicants or 3.25 for college applicants.
