About this scholarship
California high school seniors whose parent or legal guardian is employed by a California winegrape grower may apply for CWGGF scholarships. Six awards are granted annually for University of California or California State University four-year programs or California community college two-year programs, with individual amounts varying by institution type up to $8,000.
Selection weighs financial need, academics, leadership, and community involvement. Submit the online application, transcript, one recommendation, and a 500-word essay by the February deadline. Recipients must enroll in at least 12 units per semester and maintain satisfactory academic progress.
