MD students in the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary facing exceptional, unanticipated financial hardship that puts them at serious risk of withdrawing from the MD program may apply for Special Bursaries.
Application windows open in May, September, and January. Students are notified by email when applications open. The school also encourages meeting with the Financial Literacy Consultant if you are in hardship.
