About this scholarship
Incoming first-year and transfer students at CU Boulder whose parent(s) or legal guardians do not hold a bachelor's degree and who demonstrate significant financial need may apply. Complete the FAFSA or CASFA and the CU Boulder Scholarship Application.
Colorado residents receive $4,000 per year; nonresidents receive up to $8,000 per year. First-year recipients must participate in the First Generation Scholars Program.
Deadlines are March 15 for first-year students and June 15 for transfers. Nonresidents must also be offered the Presidential Scholarship or Chancellor's Achievement Scholarship to qualify.
