About this scholarship
California State University undergraduate or graduate students in any discipline with a medically verified visual disability, a minimum 2.8 GPA, and enrollment in at least 6.1 degree-seeking units may apply for the Dale M. Schoettler Scholarship for Visually Impaired Students. Forty-nine awards of $10,000 each are allocated systemwide each academic year on a rolling basis.
Apply through the CSU Foundation systemwide scholarship portal. The scholarship was established in 1991 by businessman Dale M. Schoettler, who was blind during the last eight years of his life.
