About this scholarship
Monmouth County, New Jersey high school seniors who plan to continue education after graduation may apply for Count Basie Center Arts Impact Scholarships. Recipients receive a one-time $2,500 award toward higher education, with up to ten scholarships granted.
Applicants with experience in any art form at any level are welcome. The application includes a resume, two recommendation letters, a community-service statement of at least 200 words, and an essay of at least 500 words on how the arts have impacted your life.

- Submission deadline April 13, 2026 at 5 PM (April 20, 2026 for the Robert Garrett scholarship)
- Applicants plan to continue education after high-school graduation.
