About this scholarship
Black students newly admitted full-time to the first year of the University of Ottawa Common Law JD program who self-identify as Black, demonstrate financial need, and show involvement in a Black community. Applicants may be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, protected/refugee status holders, or international students.
$10,000 in year 1, then $5,000 in years 2 and 3 if renewed in good standing ($20,000 total).
Apply via uoZone by May 1 with the Financial Questionnaire, Black community self-identification, and a letter of at most 500 words on Black community involvement.
