Students admitted to Fayetteville Technical Community College who are active-duty Army, Navy, National Guard, or Reserve members, or dependents of those service members, and who demonstrate financial need may apply.

The scholarship provides $1,500 and may renew for up to three years with a 2.5 GPA and available funds. Part-time enrollment qualifies.

Apply through FTCC AcademicWorks from February through March 31. This fund honors Colonel Frederick W. Best, Jr., USA, and Chief Petty Officer Frederick W. Best, Sr., USN, and supports military-affiliated students at FTCC.
