About this scholarship

Incoming first-year domestic and international students at The College of Wooster may be considered for the College Scholar award through the admission application submitted by November 1. There is no separate scholarship form. Awards typically go to students with unweighted GPAs of 3.6 or higher in a rigorous curriculum and/or, if applicable, rank in the top 20% of their class.

The award recognizes outstanding academic records and potential to contribute to the Wooster community. It is not dependent on financial need and is renewed annually while the student maintains good academic standing as determined by the Committee on Academic Standards. College Scholar offers come with the admissions decision.

Submit the Wooster admission application by November 1 for consideration.
