COFEM Mexican American Dream Scholarship

Students of Mexican descent who are AB-540, DACA, undocumented, and/or members of COFEM federations may apply for the Mexican American Dream Scholarship. Applicants must be first-generation college students enrolled in an undergraduate program at a two-year community college or four-year accredited university.

Awards are $500 for community college students and $1,000 for four-year university students. Amounts vary with available funding.

Apply during the annual fall application period on the COFEM scholarships page with proof of enrollment, transcripts, financial need documentation, and evidence of community involvement. COFEM created this fund in 2008 to support students facing financial and immigration barriers.
