About this scholarship
Undergraduate students at accredited California community colleges or state universities majoring in horticulture-related landscape programs that lead to careers in landscape contracting or related fields may apply. The program is merit-based. Applicants should show academic progress, work experience, and extracurricular activity that demonstrate intent to enter the landscape industry. Certificate-only programs are ineligible.
LEAF awards multiple scholarships with amounts that vary by cycle.
Submit the LEAF application, three recommendations, and transcripts by the posted April 15 deadline.
LEAF, formed in 1988 from the California Landscape Contractors Association Auxiliary scholarship tradition begun in 1972, funds students preparing for landscape industry careers.
