University of Victoria first-year students who achieve the highest standing in 3 units of first-year Physics and plan to take further Physics courses at UVic. Ties are broken by departmental recommendation in consultation with the instructor(s).

One in-course scholarship; amount varies. No application required. Approved by the Senate Committee on Awards on the recommendation of the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
