Claire Milne Memorial Scholarship in Social Work

For outstanding B.S.W. students at UBC Vancouver with an interest in geriatric social work or working with vulnerable populations. Preference goes to students from communities that have been historically, persistently, and systemically discriminated against.

Scholarships are funded by the Milne Family in memory of Claire Milne (1927-2020). Award amounts vary.

Claire Milne studied at UBC and spent her career caring for vulnerable young women and the elderly. Recipients are selected on faculty recommendation; no separate application is required.
