About this scholarship
BIPOC students in their final year of a Canadian undergraduate journalism program who have demonstrated commitment to high journalistic standards may apply.
One annual bursary of $5,000 is awarded.
Submit two to three samples of classwork or freelance reporting (writing, video, audio, photography, editing, or other journalistic forms), a statement of intent about post-graduation journalism plans (written or video), a short bio, resume, and answers about how the bursary would help. A Canadian Journalism Foundation selection panel chooses the recipient.
The bursary is funded by Toronto communications firm Media Profile.
