CIRMMT Student Awards
Direct application
Eligibility
About this scholarship
CIRMMT graduate student members (master's or doctoral; not post-docs or visiting students) may apply for student awards to pursue interdisciplinary research within the Centre's mandate. Single or group applications are accepted. Applicants must remain registered student members for the full award period and complete CIRMMT orientation before applying.
New applicants may receive up to $5,000 per person; renewals for new projects are capped at $3,000. Selection weighs proposal quality, interdisciplinarity, and relevance to CIRMMT's mission, plus event attendance (Distinguished Lectures and related Centre activities, with exemptions for students outside Montreal).
Submit the MS Form by February 1 at 4 p.m., then email a combined PDF of the form, supervisor recommendation letters, and CVs. Recipients present at the annual Student Symposium at the start and end of the award.
