About this scholarship
McMaster University Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) students taking Health Sciences courses in the following Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter terms that include travel and volunteering in underdeveloped, disadvantaged areas outside Canada may apply for the CIM International Outreach Travel Award.
Candidates must demonstrate contributions to the betterment of life through special initiatives. A 500-word essay on how the experience meets personal learning goals is required; goals should include a presentation to an external group after travel. The award provides $1,000.
