About this scholarship

Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons enrolled in or applying to an eligible research-based master's program in Canada may apply for the CIHR Strategic Master's Award in priority areas such as bioinformatics and computational biology, sex and gender in health research, or First Nations, Inuit, and Métis health.

The award provides up to $27,000 for one year.
