CIHR Canada Graduate Research Scholarship – Doctoral

Doctoral students pursuing health-related research may apply through McMaster for the CIHR Canada Graduate Research Scholarship Doctoral. Eligible applicants include Canadian citizens, permanent residents, protected persons, and international students enrolled in their doctoral program at McMaster. Applicants must meet CIHR limits on months of doctoral study completed.

The award is valued at $40,000 per year for 36 months.

Applications are submitted through CIHR ResearchNet following McMaster's internal competition timeline. Selected applications are forwarded to CIHR within the university's assigned quota.
