Chung Family Scholarship in Arts

Open to outstanding UBC Vancouver Faculty of Arts undergraduates who demonstrate academic achievement, hard work, and community contribution.

Scholarships totalling $24,000 are offered annually through a gift from Michael Chung and his family. The per-recipient amount varies. Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Arts. There is no separate student application.

The Chung family, originally from Hong Kong, established this scholarship in recognition of their values: a good education, a hardworking attitude, and actively contributing to a better community.
