Swan Valley High School seniors in Saginaw County, Michigan, with at least a 3.25 GPA who plan full-time undergraduate enrollment at Saginaw Valley State University may apply through the Saginaw Community Foundation.
Scholarship amounts vary by year based on funding availability. Applications are accepted November 1 through the second Friday in February.
The award honors Christopher Erskine, a Swan Valley senior whose battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy ended in 1998.
