Christopher and Eva Doherty Bursary

Students entering first year of full-time study at Laurentian University with at least a B average. The award may continue in later years if the student maintains a minimum B average. Preference goes to Northern Ontario students studying in a health sciences discipline who demonstrate financial need.

The bursary value varies (up to full tuition). An application is required.

Established by their children to honour Dr. and Mrs. C.J. Doherty. Dr. Doherty served on Laurentian's Board of Governors from 1960 to 1968 and later received an honorary doctorate of law.
