Christian Larew Memorial Scholarship

Students pursuing an ALA-accredited Master of Library Science who have earned no more than 12 credit hours toward the degree may apply. The award favors applicants with a vision for library and information technology, academic excellence, and leadership potential. Economic need is considered when other criteria are equal.

The Christian Larew Memorial Scholarship provides $3,000 in tuition support. Apply through the single ALA online scholarship application (open September 1 to March 1) with a statement of library experience, references, and a personal statement on what you can bring to the profession.
