About this scholarship

Outstanding American pianists who are U.S. citizens or legal residents, ages 14 to 17, with an affinity for Chopin's music may apply while preparing for the National Chopin Piano Competition (up to four years of support).

Awards are $1,000 and renewable; half-awards of $500 are also possible. Apply online via GetAcceptd with a career statement, two teacher recommendations, video recordings of required repertoire, and a $35 application fee.
