China Scholarship Council (CSC) Scholarship

For Chinese citizens applying to a full-time PhD at Simon Fraser University (CSC also supports visiting doctoral and postdoctoral tracks). Applicants must meet SFU graduate admission and English language requirements.

The CSC PhD award provides approximately $2,200 CAD per month plus travel. Once CSC funding is confirmed, SFU adds a tuition waiver for up to 48 months.

Apply to SFU by the department deadline or January 15 for Fall entry, whichever is earlier, noting CSC intent on the application. Then apply to CSC through your home university in China using the SFU offer. Send the CSC award letter to gradawards@sfu.ca for the tuition waiver.
