High school seniors who are children or legal wards of permanent residential members of Ohio's 24 electric distribution cooperatives may compete for the Children of Members Scholarship.

Local co-op contests feed a statewide competition that awards $56,100 total among finalists. Individual amounts and deadlines vary by cooperative.
