About this scholarship

Students ages 16 to 20 continuing education through college, trade school, or other career paths may compete in the Chick and Sophie Major Memorial Duck Calling Contest in Stuttgart, Arkansas.

First place receives $5,000; four winners share $9,000 total in prizes. Contestants provide photo ID at registration and perform a Main Street duck-calling routine.

The competition is held annually on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.
