Cheryl L. Wase Memorial Scholarship for the Study of Archaeology

New Mexico resident women at least 18 years old pursuing anthropology with an archaeology focus at ENMU, NMSU, UNM, or NMHU may apply through the Society for American Archaeology.

Awards cover tuition, course fees, and books for accredited coursework and may renew up to five years (undergraduate) or three years (graduate) with a 3.0 GPA. Amounts vary by year.

Submit application materials by January 31; applications reopen each October 1. The fund honors archaeologist Cheryl L. Wase and her dedication to New Mexico archaeology.
