About this scholarship
First Nations, Inuit, or Métis graduate students of Canada in the UBC Faculty of Forestry in good academic standing may be nominated for this award.
Awards are drawn from a $5,800 endowment established by Suzanne Johnson, along with matching funds from the Faculty of Forestry. If no eligible graduate students are available, the award may go to an undergraduate student in the Faculty. The per-recipient amount varies by year.
Recipients are selected on faculty recommendation in consultation with Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
