About this scholarship
Black/African-American U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are residents of one of the 50 states or D.C., with a 3.0+ GPA, and who are graduating high school seniors, current college students, or returning students pursuing veterinary medicine or technology may apply.
Two non-renewable $2,000 awards are offered annually. Funds are paid to the institution after proof of enrollment.
Submit the application, official sealed transcript, two professional references (one STEM), resume, proof of full-time enrollment, and an essay on laboratory animal research ethics. Applications must be postmarked by April 15; winners are announced June 1.
