About this scholarship

Medical or other health care students who are active Wilderness Medical Society (WMS) Standard or Premium members and have not received a WMS grant in the prior cycle may apply for the Charles S. Houston Grant.

The $5,000 award supports well-defined wilderness or environmental medicine research that can be completed within 18 months.
