About this scholarship
Undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in Earth and Environmental Sciences at UBC Okanagan may be considered, with preference for students interested in geology who demonstrate financial need, an exceptional work ethic, and academic strength. Undergraduate majors in the BSc program who hold the award must complete EESC 111 and EESC 112 in year one.
The award is valued at $10,000 per year. Subject to continued scholarship standing, undergraduate recipients may renew for up to three additional years.

The awards are supported through an endowment established by the Charles E. Fipke Foundation.
