About this scholarship
Students with a Connecticut connection (residence, school, work, or similar) who by June of the award year have completed two years in a NAAB-accredited B.Arch program, are accepted into an accredited M.Arch program, or are enrolled full time in an accredited M.Arch may apply. Connecticut residents are encouraged. Preference is given to students at the University of Pennsylvania, Georgia Institute of Technology, and the Fontainebleau summer program.
Awards for tuition have previously ranged from about $1,200 to $5,000 (up to $5,000).
Submit the online application, a one-page goals letter, resume, one exemplary project PDF, a faculty reference emailed separately, and the financial-aid form by April 17. The scholarship applies to tuition only.
The fund was established in 1986 by DuBose Associates in memory of Charles DuBose, FAIA, noted for Constitution Plaza in Hartford.
