About this scholarship
Open to CFMS member medical students with a sustained commitment to global health, international development, and health equity through advocacy. Students may apply jointly for a shared initiative. Past and current CFMS associates, national officers, leads, and committee chairs may apply if CFMS is not mentioned and the initiative is not CFMS-related; current board members cannot apply.
One recipient receives an engraved trophy, expenses-paid attendance at the CFMS Spring General Meeting, and a grant of at least $5,000 to fund their humanitarian initiative, plus national exposure and support from CPAMD and CFMS. Additional $1,000 awards may be offered to other distinctive student-led initiatives.
