About this scholarship
Incoming UMBC freshmen majoring in computer science, information systems, business technology administration (technical focus), computer engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical/biochemical/environmental engineering, or a related program may apply for this four-year merit scholarship.
Awards range up to $22,000 per academic year depending on residency, with priority housing included for scholars. The Center for Women in Technology supports talented students pursuing technical fields at UMBC.
