About this scholarship

Undergraduate First Nations, Inuit, or Métis students of Canada in good academic standing in the UBC Faculty of Forestry on the Vancouver campus may be considered. If there are no eligible Indigenous students in a given year, awards may go to Faculty of Forestry students with a demonstrated interest in Indigenous studies.

Awards totalling $3,900 have been made available through an endowment established by the Faculty of Forestry; individual amounts vary.

There is no separate student application; awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Forestry.

The endowment was established in recognition of UBC's Centennial and the Faculty's and UBC's shared strategic commitment to Indigenous engagement.
