CCPA Native American Scholarship

Native American college students enrolled in an accredited anthropology program may apply for this competitive scholarship to attend an archaeology field school through a university or college.

One recipient receives $1,500. In lieu of a field school, the award may cover similar training or other educational expenses related to archaeological or anthropological studies.

The Colorado Council of Professional Archaeologists Native American Initiatives Committee fosters cooperation between archaeological and Native American communities.
