About this scholarship

Full-time Black or African-American students pursuing a visual arts degree in fields such as architecture, ceramics, drawing, fashion, graphic design, illustration, painting, photography, or video production, who reside or attend school in a Congressional Black Caucus member's district, may apply.

Scholarships of $2,500 support undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral study. Applicants need a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Complete the online application at cbcfinc.academicworks.com. Submit a video personal statement, creative work samples (up to five images or a sample video), two letters of recommendation, transcripts, a resume, and a professional-quality photograph.
