About this scholarship
Full-time Black or African-American students pursuing a degree in performing arts, including drama, music, dance, opera, marching bands, and related ensembles, who reside or attend school in a Congressional Black Caucus member's district may apply.
Scholarships of $2,500 are awarded annually to support undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral study.
Complete the online application at cbcfinc.academicworks.com. Submit a video personal statement (up to 3 minutes), a performance video sample (up to 2 minutes on YouTube), two letters of recommendation, official transcripts, a resume, and a professional-quality photograph.
