About this scholarship
Practicing Catholic full-time undergraduates at Northwestern University may apply for the Catholic Scholars Program through the Christ the Teacher Institute at the Sheil Catholic Center.
The standard two-year track pays a $2,000 annual stipend over six quarters; rising seniors may apply for a one-year track with a $2,000 stipend. Applicants need a 2.8 GPA and must submit academic and pastoral recommendations.
The program integrates scholarship, prayer, service, and leadership to form Catholic leaders for the Church and the world.

- Letter of recommendation from a pastoral minister (Sheil pastoral staff or other pastoral leader/youth minister/campus minister)
- Letter of recommendation from a professor or academic advisor
- Must be a full-time undergraduate at Northwestern University and a practicing Catholic
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8

- Participants must meet the program's time commitments for scholarship, prayer, service, and leadership formation.
