Greater Houston area high school seniors who are U.S. citizens and Texas residents planning to attend a Texas college or technical school may apply for Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas' Cat Lift Trucks Scholarship.
One $5,000 award is offered annually for study in engineering, business, or a material-handling-related technical field. Selection weighs academics, community involvement, leadership, financial need, and short essays.
Applications are due January 23. Permanent residents born outside the U.S. must provide citizenship proof.
